Fallen Over Dead Drunk?

Recently a persistent wasp climbed into a tipped-over and mostly empty can of beer, and emerged a few minutes later wobbling and bobbling, and finally falling flat on his back, where he remained for several minutes. He was not drunk though (at least in the literal meaning of the word), because it was a non-alcoholic, 0.0% beer. Maybe it was the sugar content?
