Slice of Reality
by Mag07
The slice of a ship on the right, is just that - with a little name plaque - Slice of Reality. It's an unusual sight, especially at law tide.
From Wikipedia:
A Slice of Reality is a work of modern art by Richard Wilson sitting by (and commissioned for) the Millennium Dome on the north-western bank of the Greenwich Peninsula. It consists of a 9-metre (30 ft)[1] sliced vertical section through the former 800-ton[2] 60-metre (200 ft) sand dredger Arco Trent and exposes portions of the former living quarters of the vessel to the elements (such as a visible pool table in the lower decks).[3][4]
Not quite sure I like it on it's own, but it makes for an interesting foreground subject

I love this shot. Interesting reflected light in the right foreground and the sun just hidden behind the artwork.
Kind regards

Thank you for your comments It's a fantastic walk if you're ever in the area. Surprisingly peaceful considering the O2 is right behind.

I just love the light in this town. I probably have about 50 takes in less than a mile of the bank
