we tried to be very careful (and as I sometimes say, when I am on photo tours - one of the few chances for German office workers to not die in the chair ) - actually, we were more afraid to meet some skin heads in these buildings

One of the things I love about these photos, Axel, is the detail of construction ! The vaulted ceiling with its diagonal bricks ....

Yep - that's really cool - try to find a company these days, that can still do things like that (for a price that a local commune can invest for something like a hospital).....
