Does the noise in this image worry you, because I have to say it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

There is a lot of noise, but in a way it doesnt distract.

Bit tongue in cheek John, the noise in this instance does not take too much from the bud and twig.

It all blends into the bokeh for me John - the 'super-macro' setting seems to work well on the I-10?

It does, but it doesn't allow any zooming at that setting. I prefer the Macro setting as it's still possible to zoom, although not focusing quite so close.
When set to Standard AF, it's interesting that the Macro setting will switch in automatically if we move close.
