"Man is not himself only...He is all that he sees; all that flows to him from a thousand sources...He is the land, the lift of its mountain lines, the reach of its valleys."

The swift waters of the River Aune, passing fern and moss festooned boulders, as it continues to carve its way through the granite of the Cornubian batholith of Dartmoor National Park
This granite intrusion occured around 300 million years ago towards the later part of the ancient European Variscan Belt of mountain building

Blog is well written and worth reading for those who might connect the quest for the metaphysical with images of soothing beauty. Or visa versa. Thanks for writing and producing it. Your latest image is musical and soothing. Nicely offered in a package of spot on imagery.

The colours are not entirely natural Phil, but this doesn't matter and adds to the feel of this shot and many of your others.
Brilliantly photographed and processed, to project a certain mood and feeling of serenity.
Regards
David
