Many thanks, Reza.
I'm afraid I can't take the credit for the focus - the K-r sorted that out. My only input on that was to select 5-point Auto-focus so the camera didn't get too confused when I was following a fast moving object with continuous shooting !
I must say that I'm really pleased with this 'bargain' camera !
