Tornado at Hexham

The new express steam loco Class A1 Tornado ran the Christmas Coronation three-day special train from London-Edinburgh with a tour round the borders on day 2. Here it is accelerating from a rewatering stop at Hexham on Friday.

Yes I think this shot is wonderful - you can really feel and smell the train's presence
