The Britannia Class loco Oliver Cromwell on last Friday's steam special, this time at Appleby, Cumbria, on its return journey south. K10+DA*50-135mm lens.
The steam special was named 'The Roaring Monster.'

I love large standard designs. We were supposed to be getting one on the WSR but it didn't transpire. Super shot. I love seeing these on the main line.

Nice to see, its good you were able to get a shot with out any electrification lines and gantries, I know its not easy these days,there have been some really good shots lately that would have been even better with out them.
