Steam Special Express

by davidtrout

Steam Dreams ran a three day Coronation Express between London and Dundee this weekend. Three different Pacific locomotives ran the train in relays. The second leg of the relay, York to Edinburgh, was handled by the 70-year-old A4 loco Sir Nigel Gresley. I caught it at Durham where it hurtled through at around 70mph on it's northbound run today Saturday May 16).
