Thanks Andy. The clone the poles did enter my mind but I'm rubbish at that sort of stuff. Need to practice more. The light was the overhead sun but was bounced back up to the statue from the white floor.

Nice image - I like the way your B&W conversion has darkened the sky to emphasise the statue which is sidelit in a pleasing manner. I might be tempted to clone out the aerial(?)/ pole in the background.
