Perfect POV and well captured image. The 2 men are placed perfectly. Tg

Two men? ... There are THREE ! You didn't let your eye wander around it sufficiently
It's a wonderful image.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Very good image Andrew. Endless DOF which you would expect from a small sensor making the MX-1 an ideal tool for this type of shot. I see that the exif says 24mm, so I assume you were at full optical zoom and if so you managed even better control of DOF.

Great conversion and so much to view in this image.

Best regards

Agreed with all the above comments. You've been venturing into the grim north Andrew - although many Geordies consider Manchester to be in the midlands.

Well David. My son and I had a conversation about this very point and asked alocal lady who confirmed that we were in the North, the Midlands, she said, was "around Birmingham"... Eight hours up (the M6 was closed all day on Friday) and Three and a half hours home, seemed like north to us! It's certainly different, like a different country, really, and so much industrial stufff to see that we don't get in Somerset. We had a marvellous time.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Three and a half hours back? Did you upgrade to a Z4 then?
I love this kind of subject as it's absolutely ideal for HDR!
