The White House

This house stands out bright and white in the late afternoon sun, against a dark background of brooding sky and hills.

Wonderful contrast and lovely detail, a nicely composed beautiful photograph. Should be viewed large for better detail.

A classic British landscape, david. Beautifully composed.
Best wishes,

To mirror my note on the colour version of this shot, sincere thanks to you all for your comments. I usually prefer colour shots, but there's something about this particular BW that attracts me, despite the colours being so striking on the other version!
