Early crocus

K1 and a Pancolar 50/1.8. This thing was so delicate and lovely, poking through a tangle of soaking wet grass.

It's becoming one of my favourites!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

What is the "Pancolar"?

It is a 50mm, very fast, f=1.8 lens made by Zeiss. On a par with the Takumar 55mm f 1.8, both of which have exceptionally narrow depth of field when wide open and stunning bokeh.
Tommy posted some nice images made with one that prompted me to acquire a copy - hence his comment.
Thank you Tommy!
