Puffin

by fritzthedog

Went back to Bempton Cliffs yesterday - still looking for Puffins.

Eventually found 2 of them but they were at the limit. This was the Sigma 150-500 HSM + 1.7 TC at max (850mm)

Not as sharp as I would like but my first Puffins!

Great shot, Carl.
At that distance you've no need to worry about the sharpness.
I can't even get my Ceanothus sharp with my DAL 18-55 at 50mm !

Love your shots

Quite a challenge 'conquer the Puffins'
This one is already pretty good!

Great colours and details, nice capture. I also like the square crop.
