Slow Worm

by TonyHowells

Had to wait ages to capture the tongue coming out but it was worth it. Taken on a K20 with ring flash and 105 macro.

Superb image, Tony!

I've photographed slow worms many times in our local Churchyard nature-garden & never managed such a shot.

Extremely well done.

Roger.

p.s., was it captive or free at the time?
