Kuntz Covered Bridge
by Corker2211
Covered Bridges were once a normal site to see around this area. The Kuntz Covered Bridge was built around 1837. Used to span a creek or river they also served a purpose of getting out of the rain or snow.
Also, called a "kissing bridge" it got it's name from driving your horse & buggy under the bridge and steal a kiss from your Lady. Thus the name. Not many bridges like these remain. The ones that do have been repaired and kept in their original condition.

Good angle for the photograph with an interesting explanation of the bridge.
