Corfe Castle

This is one of the earliest stone keeps which was built by the Normans, it was completed in 1105. Now it is looked after by the National Trust. istD + DA 10-17 @ 10mm f11 @ 1/640th sec.

I like this, a terribly different shot of a very well-photoed spot. Seems to reinforce the fact that half the castle slipped down the hill at some stage in history.

No filters at all Mac, not to sure how you would fit one on the DA 10-17 because the front element sticks out so far.

Good POV, good B&W processing - should look superb in a print.
I doubt you needed more than iso200 for this as with a 10mm lens you certainly didn't need 1/640s (unless it was very windy) not did you need f11 for DOF. (I always felt the *isD should have iso100 which I'm glad my K-7 has but because of it's poor dynamic range I run the K-7 on the max. DR which means iso200.....sigh.)
