Brilliant image, unusual too!

What a lens... it is brilliant at landscapes and close ups... all the nonsense written about it not being sharp in the corners and field curvature problems 😣😣😣😣

This is the lens that would make it very difficult for me to exclusively switch to the full frame K1, and the 15-30 lens is not as good never mind having to lug a monster about. The cost too!!!!

Thank you Giulio and Nocturnal. Yes, I also treasure my 15mm Limited, including its screw-on cap. I noticed the other day it is included among The 26 Best Pentax Lenses (the author of which I do not recall.). As you are well aware, wide-angle lenses are inherently going to be softer in the corners than lenses that are longer in focal length, the only question being how soft compared to another lens of the same focal length. And here the 15mm Ltd more than competes. Same thing with field curvature, that is inescapable at this focal length. Again, the issue is how well it compares with another 15mm lens. I do like the Limited for its contrast, which as I recall you mentioned in an earlier posting. It is a super lens in its build and feel, focussing and centre sharpness throughout its range. And price was reasonable.

Thank you for your kind words David. Yesterday I posted a different photo containing the same battery-operated "light bottle" which I borrowed from a neighbour, and looking forward to using it again should the neighbour trust me with it.
