Nice clean lines in this; I prefer your treatment/ processing in the lower half, whereas the roof colours I find a bit distracting

I was only ever in St. Malo once but enjoyed the town! Love this record of the place!

Great spot for for this, great shot and PP work. To lift it to the next level you need to correct the lens distortion e.g the building on the left has a slight bulge, likewise you can see the drainpipe is not straight on the building to the right.

Great thanks for the remark. I was hoping that… You do, indeed, have good eyesight. Well, things are not always straight (in most domains — in France [politics with W*lsh support?] or elsewhere). Your observations are valid, but, as they say here: "Le meilleur est l'ennemi du bien." When I try to improve beyond a certain degree, I spoil. I have to live with this — as do we all, in most things. I ended my cricket career on two ducks (one of which was a very fine middle-stump cartwheeling golden) because of new glasses which did not seem to show where the new ball really was and the wretched bowler really did swing it. Gimp could perhaps be used, but it is a complex beast. So I must let the wall and pipe stand where and how they seem to be.
