Excellent, Andrew! The compo, the framing, the reflection, sharpness, colours are all excellent and very pleasing. Is this a colour period?

Yes Tim. I bought it off evil-bay because I'd heard it was such a good lens and thought it would be perfect for portraits. But despite the limited range, it's very nice to use as a general lens.
