The old pier
by bychan
I've posted a few images recently from the old granite quarry.
This is where all the stone was transported to, for shipping to destinations world wide.

The w/a lens has worked well here providing a real "sweep" to the image.
Good colour & the red life buoy(?) really stands out.
I like the sky but would be tempted to "pull down" the mid-tones of it a little giving the sky more strength.
Regards, Ian.

I really like the way this just looks so realistic. Like actually being there. The detail is superb

Thanks all for the kind comments, greatly appreciated.
Ian, I'm afraid that my PP skills have a long way to go (got a lot to learn here). Strange that you mention the life buoy, as I noticed on Saturday that it's no longer there.
Regards
