Newquay Harbour Ladies Gig Championships for gig clubs from all over not just the UK. Mostly Cornish clubs take part, but there have been Dutch, Irish, and Welsh clubs in the past.
The gigs can only row if the tide and the wind allow, because of the entrance to the harbour, being a bit precarious, especially with experienced rowers and coxswains.
