AF rear converter test

After having long hesitated I "lashed out". This is a first test of the Pentax AF REAR CONVERTER with a K-50 and 55-300 (SMC DA = older model). The photo was taken hand-held more or less at random at 420mm, F8, 1/500. There was some PP and the colours might have been adjusted more—but all that needs patience. Viewed on a MacBook Pro with a 'retina' screen, it looks pretty impressive, but I'm wondering whether I should keep the thing. Does anyone else out there use the converter? Any remarks would be very welcome.

I too was thinking, "random shot?" ... with a crane in it? Grogeman? No way. He loves cranes!
