The two Glaze Brook photos were challenging to make, but the light in wooed me. They involved being perched on very narrow ledges I scrambled down to on the very steep & loose 20ft high west bank. Should have used my abseiling gear if I were more sensible about it! Hope to get the climbing gear out soon for a couple of other tricky vantage points I have in mind on other nearby moorland rivers.

Just beautiful, the control over the composition, exposure and shutter speed is exemplary and all the elements gel together to make a lovely image.

Thank you very much for your encouraging comments Bill I had visited the neighbouring woodlands a week earlier and had wondered what this brook might look like after a period of heavy rains. The evening I made this, the weather had just started to clear after many hours of rain and the warm sunlight had great appeal as it dappled through the trees. It was an atmosphere that had exceed my previous hopes. A precarious stance from which to make my photo felt worth the efforts and risk. It is a lovely stream.

There are other bits to explore a bit downstream, but access is very tricky - might be worth an abseil to see what I can find
