Storm and dryness

Two ya. August 2022. A storm approaching to Lago Trasimeno coming from west. Strange lights and colors. In foreground a low tide effect due to scarce rains of these last years. Camera on tripod. Five pictures merged in Photomatix. Lens is PENTAX DA 55-300 at 55mm.

Intriguing picture with lovely colours. Am I right in thinking this is a lake and not the sea shore?

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

You're right. This is a lakeshore not a sea shore. This is an almost dried lake named Lago Trasimeno in the central part of Italy.

Thank you very much. Most of colors are detailed and not overfilled....but Red boat Lost its detailed strutture. I have not been able to fully manager Photomatix. So I have appointed a new and improved version using Nik collection HDR/Viveza 2. Then I have used that layer in PS and changed colore to LAB. I set opacty at 20% and using a Mask I painted black those areas where colors became Deep overfilled. I painted black mountains and storm/Sky Clouds in background to avoid color cast due to colori Lab method. IMHO this new version Is closer to the Moment of light I took a picture of about 2years ago.
