As far as a mono conversion is concerned I have taken so many with the K3iii Monochrome and a Mono converted K3 that I can confirm she does look great in mono, that probably makes me a little lazy about converting colour images - this time of year the draw is to be outside taking rather than inside processing. On the stack of images building up on my hard drives it could be a busy winter!
