Wet morning shot so the flower has not fully opened. I seem to be using the DA*300mm more like a macro lens recently - but just loving the results

That lens is perfect for (300mm) 'close-ups', as you very ably demonstrate.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thank you David. It took me awhile to appreciate the all round versatility of this lens but now it tends to be pretty much on the K3iii all the time
