Taken in Tenerife in an area which had been devastated by fire. Canarian Pines have evolved to withstand the heat and flames before sending forth new shoots.

A lovely shot that has your hallmark, Andrew. It speaks volumes to me, as the defocused old tree trunk gives way to the sharp new shoot. Beautifully taken, thank you for sharing it.
