No Pews

Most of the pews were removed in Durham Cathedral for the recording of the antiques roadshow yesterday.I managed to get access for 20 min this morning.
The Cathedral have a photography evening next Monday which I posted a while ago.

This is a very rare view of Durham Cathedral John. Well done. They just have a very large cupboard hidden away somewhere to store all those pews.

When I grow up I want to take architectural images half this quality. Tempted to make it my screen saver, well maybe not, but this is one sexy image. Previous in series are all special but this earlier image is destined for a museum somewhere - more please tg

Really like this... You get a real sense for the building itself... Almost like no one's moved in yet (or just moved out)...
