Ely Cathedral

Working in Ely yesterday so had a wander and took a few piccies. This one converted to B&W and then for some unknown reason I chose to tint it blue and liked it.

The Romanesque rounded arches immediately tell you this building could not rise very high without collapsing. And large windows were impossible. Nevertheless, it is still an impressive height for a non-Gothic structure.
