I like this shot, a lot. The light reflected off the tracks and the sky colours, excellent.

Yes. I like it for the same reasons.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Yes I agree, e.g. a full width crop of the top 3/4 would work very well.
