Tickhill Church in Colour

by davidstorm

This was taken on the same day as my Infra-red image and is from 3 separate exposures, blended together. One exposure for highlights, one for shadows and one for mid-tones. The painterly feel is partly as a result of blending the exposures and partly from the vintage lens used, which tends to give images this sort of feel.

That has worked very well. The result can be clearly seen in the full tonal range within the bare tree.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

HDR always does a great job on buildings! One of my wishes for a K1-III would be to have seven, or more, automatically bracketed shots available in the menu!
