Thank you Wooly. It's strange and rare to read a comment on a sport-action photo...Why? I don't know...It's the same in South-Europe(well close to Africa because Italy it's there...I'm joking..)

Well panned Giulio but I'm in 2 minds over the rider & bike blur. It looks as if he's being shaken to pieces. It would be interesting to see a shot at a higher SS which froze the rider but allowed the bike to blur (particularly the wheels).
However the blur does have merit making the shot more abstract.

You've managed to pan this beautifully, it's a shame the riders movement makes it look like camera shake, looking closer the far side of the track & bike show this isn't the case, despite the slow shutter speed.
The bike itself is impressive.
