Another Packard shot

Emily, I love abstracts. This a great example of the old saying 'less is more'. Its much more satisfying than viewing the whole car.

I like this shot, the focus is perfect.

Lovely shot where the exposure is so well controlled and you're not reflected anywhere! If I was being picky - and I usually am - the number plate bottom right could be removed and bottom left that tiny reflected tree is a bit distracting.

I agree entirely that sometimes the smallest detail is more pleasing than yet another image of the whole car. This one is pretty good, it is hard sometimes to get rid of all reflections. The red light housing is not straight to my eyes. The rest of it is super. I see you have 40mm lens, is that the small Limited one? Super lens that is. All of my Morges British Classic car shots this year were taken with the SMC-DA 1:2.8 35mm Macro Limited. Pentax glass is seriously good.

Sadly no, just 18-55mm. I agree about the light, it's also a bit soft - could've stopped down if I had a tripod. I still might frame it for my pop tho!
