Imperial War Museum North

This is another of my shots from my recent visits to Salford Quays, Manchester. The World War 2 tank contrasts nicely with the modern architecture. I think it works marginally better in mono than colour.
The lens was a Sigma 10-20mm set at 10mm on a K10d.

As I often do I wonder why not colour? The tank's colour would surely contrast nicely with the building and sky?
Good capture!

Thanks for your comments both of you. Mike asks why black and white and not colour? Sometimes the starkness of mono can add drama to a picture and focus the eye on essential lines, tones and shades. But it's a personal choice, some people still prefer black and white. I love colour and b+w equally so I'm now going to submit the colour version of this so you can make up your own mind.
