Under the pier.
by BrianN
Taken under Herne Bay Pier on a cold day in January. An HDR long exposure to keep detail in the shadows and highlights. 60 seconds, 120 seconds and 240 seconds. Post processed in Lightroom to correct the verticals, merge the exposures then split toned.

It is a symmetrical and aesthetic Photograph , with tint off-colour balancing act, well done and liked.

Nice composition and split tone. Did you manually merge the different exposures as HDR in Lightroom (and in camera) can give ghosting sometimes which you seem to have avoided. Did you need to do focus stacking or did you just focus at the hyperfocal distance of the lens?

The HDR was done manually in Lightroom. I've never had a good result done in camera. I relied on the hyperfocal distance and massive dof at that focal length.
