A dramatic sky and landscape.
Best wishes,

Its clearly the same mountain as in your previous recent shot but this picture is so different. Dark and moody compared to light, sunny and colourful. Each of these two pictures has great merit.

I was for the first time on the summit of the mountain "Storsola"' where I took these photos in 2006. At that time I did not own a decent camera, I only carried a 2mp mobile phone camera, and regretted dearly that I had not brough a proper camera. So when I decided to do this climb again in August this year, I carried the Pentax 67ii and 45mm and 105mm lenses, the K5 and lenses and a Sigma DP2 Merrill. Together with my Manfrotto tripod, I was carrying about 15 kg of camera equipment on a long and quite strenous climb. Never again! The good thing is that I have many captures of the same motives, but with different media: slide film, black and white film, bayer digital and the Sigma Foveon. So it is quite interesting, like you also point out, to compare the photo above with my previous Provia 100F gallery entry, and observe how very differently the films convey the scene, even though I was at the summit only for a few hours.
