Mother and Child

Not really...but a parent and child image comes to mind when I look at this Amaryllis plant that's put out two varying sized shoots side by side. Will post the blooms soon...they are huge and spectacular!

I have to be honest and say I don't like the composition. Viridian and candy pink are not good bedfellows! The pot is gorgeous, however for these lovely flowers. I look forward to them blooming too
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thanks for sharing the critique and feedback, David. This Amaryllis is aproaching an amazing 28" in height. It has four blooms which are red. Hoping to be able to relay it's actual beauty in a photo.

Great potential with the elements of this photo ( the pot, the tree in bloom, the wooden support ) .
Personally I would see a little framing by offsetting the pot of amaryllis .
In my humble opinion of course !
