This cheeky fellow came down and perched next to us as we were strolling around Thrybergh Country Park. Then proceeded to fly alongside us and going perch to perch.

I never cease to be amazed at the antics of robins. This one is so in character.

The yard of my childhood home, with its towering elms spotted here and there on its perimeter and its row of spruces running down one side, sheltered dozens of robins, and together with the occasional crows thrown in for contrasting comic relief, provided us all with the full panoply of robin behaviour. To me, they were THE bird.

So nice to see your image, which brought back all those memories.
