Parallel lines

Playing around with the 16-50 on a recent walk. I think it shows that wide open the 16-50 sharpness is not that bad (after a little PP)

Good idea and an unusual composition spoilt for me because the focus is on the nearest tree instead of on the furthest. Never mind such a good idea needs and deserves another go. Keep at it.

Actually close focus to the left was my intent in this particular case. I was interested in demonstrating that the 16-50 can produce a reasonably sharp image away from the centre of the image when wide open

My apologies have to admit I looked at the shot and thought what an original take on the avenue of trees and wondered why it was so strangely focused. Sorry. Embarrassed but would still like to see the composition with the focus at infinity.

I like the concept, shows the lens in good light - no pun intended - well taken.
