The Passing of The Storm
by davidstorm
No pun intended, this is not a reference to my surname!
Last one for today from our superb trip to the Peak District, organised by Andrew A. Looking down with Mam Tor behind us to the cement factory in the Hope Valley.
We had just experienced some foul weather, but luckily this is pennies from heaven for photographers. I managed to catch the moment when the light hit just behind the cement factory.

Great scene, plenty of interest and a bonus catch with the light shaft

Now that is very nice David - am kicking myself - totally forgot about the Peak District trip!
No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

Looks like you all had a real good day in spite of the weather.

Thanks Larry, it was great, but I don't think your knees could have handled it! By the end of the day we were all really tired, it was hard work walking on boggy ground and snow all day and we must have done at least 10 miles of walking up hill and down dale.Looks like you all had a real good day in spite of the weather.
Hope we can meet up again at some point in the not too distant future.
Cheers
David
