Sound Quality

by swarf

One of the industry standard microphones used in recording studios around the world - developed in partnership with abbey road studios. Many of your favourite songs will have been recorded using a microphone just like this one. This one is based a friend's studio with (a part of) his mixing desk in the background. Shot using my smc A 50mm F1.7 at F 3.2; converted using Silver Efex Pro.

Giulio - it does a bit. It's mounted on springs so that it's isolated from any vibration coming from the floor as a result of the artists tapping their feet!

"Sound quality". Pretty good image quality too!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
