No problems at all, except that I had to develope the film to see the shallow depth.
As far as I know the optics on the DA are the same as the old M lens.

DA's are supposed to have a smaller image circle as they are designed for APS-C sensors not 35mm. However I have read that at least some DA lenses accommodate 35mm film. Why then they aren't designated FA is beyond me.
I was just curious whether there was a problem or not with the DA lens.

A DA lens on a film camera - did you have vignetting problems?
