Ragged Robin and Meadow Buttercups

At Pools Brook Nature reserve. Once part of local Derbyshire coal mining operation!

With 300mm while watching out for the herons, Reed Warblers, dragonflies,marsh orchids etc I took photos of on same delightful dog walk with wife! Brilliant spring here this year.

Wow, that sort of scene brings back memories of childhood and real meadows.

As an aside, Coventry City council is digging up the central reservations and sowing them with wild flower seeds. Last year's pilot was a runaway success - now they are expanding it, to the delight of the bees and the butterflies.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
