A Long Jump

This is a representation of the World Record in Long Jump set by Mary Rand in the Tokyo Olympic Games 1964.

This is another shot from the Wells Cathedral grounds, as Mary lived in Wells.

I remember this in the pavement as a child and did as most kids still do now and that is trying to jump that far.

I had to rotate the picture on it's side to demonstrate the distance jumped.
