Distant Light

by davidstorm

On top of The Roaches in Staffordshire a few weeks ago, a low flat cloud had formed over the hills, with its edge on the distant lowlands. The brightest object in the distance is a Radio Telescope at what I think is Jodrell Bank? This shot perfectly illustrates the compressed perspective that the 55-300 gives for landscapes and also shows what a sharp lens it is.

This one needs the 'Large' view.

Do like the strata aspects of this one. Very well spotted.
