Lone tree on the Wiltshire Downs
by petemasty
I drive near this lone tree atleast four times a week and always feel it needs to be photographed. Got up very early one morning and decided to see if I could take an interesting shot of it. What do u think. Comments please

Very nice indeed. Good colours, nice that its not smack in the middle too. Did you touch the colours up?

nice composition it would be worth trying in mono too. I expect you'll go back time and time again, especially around sunrise and sunset?

thanks for all the great comments. The post production (in PSP) only included a boost to saturation, and sharpening. While taking all the shots in my portfolio at sunset and sunrise, it's been a surprising experience to realise what colours the camera has captured, that, with a tweak of the saturation really do come into their own.

Damm,I've been searching for this tree as well, super shot I'm glad you didn't centralise it as "dessa" pointed out, it works great as it is.
