Gone to seed

by PeterKR

The Agapanthus has finished flowering and the seed pods are now swelling in the Autumn rain.
I just hope they get the opportunity to dry out before rotting !

Taken with my 'New' lens, a Pentax A 35-70, on MACRO
This lens apparently has the same optics as the later F 35-70 but obviously lacks the AF of the F lens

NB the EXIF says 50mm since that was the SR setting I used !

(1) you ought to have saved it for the Monthly competition
(2) what do you think of that very nice, elderly and under-rated lens?
(3) at least your EXIF works !
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

1) Many thanks, David.
2) I think it should be listed as a 'protected species' since it seems to be totally overlooked ?
I got this for a tenner and another went a few days later for even less !
I've only given it a quick trial but so far so good ?

Thanks again
Peter

Many thanks for the kind comments, Donna.

It was only after posting this pic that I noticed the floating diaphanous nature of the dying flowers.
I then wanted to change the title to "The dance of the 7 veils" !

Thanks again for your comments
Peter
