Super Moon Halo

by MikeInDevon

Actual taken about 23:00 on the 30th January 2018, the EXIF shows time a 00:03 on the 31st which is incorrect.
Looking out of one of our windows I noticed a nice Lunar Halo so thought I'd try an photograph it using my K-50 with HD15mm Ltd. I manually set the focus to infinity, upped the ISO to 1600, opened to max aperture F4, looked though the viewfinder and clicked, Av mode exposed at 1/3 sec. This was handheld so the shake reduction really worked its magic.

GIMP used to adjust contrast and saturation.
