Common Early Nancy ( Wurmbea dioica)

A most beautiful small wildflower. It is supposed to be quite common, but I have only found 3 species so far.

Beautiful indeed. What a wonderful design. I have always found wildflowers so fascinating, as God intended.

Thanks for your nice comment. I am also a great wildflower fan. Most wildflowers have a more intricate design than the larger garden flowers. Many are considered a weed, however I don't think there is such a thing as a weed. Only people gave them this name. Nature didn't
